Terms & Conditions (Beta / Pilot Phase)

Welcome to Wherezit (the "Service"), operated by Wherezit Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service during this pilot testing phase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Beta Testing & "As-Is" Service

• Pilot Nature: You acknowledge that the Service is currently in an active testing and development phase (Beta / Pilot). Features may change, be temporarily unavailable, or be modified without prior notice.
• No Guarantees: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, reliability, or continuous error-free operation.

2. AI & Voice Processing Disclaimer

• AI Interpretations: The Service utilizes automated speech-to-text and Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to categorize, log, and search household items. AI outputs can occasionally be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete.
• High-Risk Relying: The Service is intended for general household or social/sports club organization only. Do not rely solely on the Service for critical, life-essential, or emergency items (such as time-sensitive medical prescriptions or essential security items). You retain full personal responsibility for verifying item locations.

3. Account & Household Responsibilities

• Household Management: If you create a household or invite third parties (such as family members, club members, housemates, or care personnel) via a join code, you are responsible for ensuring you have permission to grant them access to that household's logged inventory.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any 6-character household invite codes you share.

4. Your Data & Content Ownership

• Ownership: You retain full ownership of all data, text, and voice entries ("User Content") you input into the Service.
• License to Operate: By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of delivering and improving the Service for you.
• Data Resets: While we strive to preserve all user entries, we recommend keeping independent records of critical information during this pilot phase in the unlikely event of data updates or backend schema changes.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of goodwill, or service interruptions arising out of your use of the Service.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to the Service during this pilot phase is limited to £50 (or the total amount paid by you to us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is lower).

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, during the pilot phase. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
